Donna Orender, Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Excelling in executive leadership positions in the challenging business of sports, Donna Orender is a game changer. She excels in focused visionary input, keen pragmatic analysis and a unique ability to lead people in new directions. Her influence in the business world has been garnered through her ability to consistently deliver results, her fearless resolve to think outside the box and her desire to champion great ideas and great people.
Kasia Swierczynska returns to Jacksonville after several years of working in New York City in a wide array of industries. An attendee of Generation W 2012, Kasia was inspired to follow her heart and desire to contribute her outstanding organizational, problem-solving and get it done skills to grow the mission and goals of Generation W. As the Chief “Get It Done” Officer at Orender Unlimited, she personifies the unlimited possibilities of what’s next.
Atiya Abdelmalik took the charge from the words of Marian Wright Edelman, “If you don’t like the way the world is, you change it. You have an obligation to change it. You just change it one step at a time.” As a newcomer to Jacksonville, Atiya wasted no time jumping in. She is passionate about her work helping women leaders, Lead With Wellbeing and very excited about the opportunity to expand the vision of Generation Wow. Atiya is a nurse by trade, a change agent at heart and a Ph.D. candidate in Community Engagement. With an extensive background in healthcare and an undying commitment to community, Atiya is excited about contributing to the vibrancy of Jacksonville.
Sherry Levin has empowered young female athletes to become the best version of themselves and achieve their highest goals during her 30 years of coaching basketball. Working in an academic setting has given her a keen perspective on how to build confident leaders of today and tomorrow. Sherry joins Generation W’s dynamic team and will reunite with founder Donna Orender, who she has successfully partnered with in the past to continue her ambition of shaping the next generation of self-assured young women.
Tara Kelley, a Jacksonville native, has grown and evolved right along with the fine city. She prides herself on strong organizational skills with a twist of creativity that she plans on utilizing to the maximum as Generation W’s Forewoman of Headquarters. Tara is ecstatic to be a part of a team that uplifts, inspires and educates the community, especially women and its up and coming youth as well. She has a strong history of being able to rally her teams through tough challenges, encourage growth amongst colleagues and implementation of exciting and efficient new how to’s.
Pixie Larizza, a Jacksonville native, is passionate about “all things woman”. Excited to be back with the Generation W team she will work to engage volunteers in furthering our mission and goals as they relate to the support, education, and inspiration of women and girls. Pixie has the heart of an entrepreneur, the soul of an artist, the spirit of a fairy and a love of working with people. She brings a colorful, joyful and Holistic approach to all of her endeavors. Taken from an Emerson poem, her definition of success is “To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
Christina Kostuk is not only new to GENERATION W but also to Florida. The Chicago native relocated to Saint Augustine, Florida after seven years working in Washington, DC. As a newcomer to the area, Christina wasted no time embedding herself in the community. In addition to her work with Generation W, she serves on the Community Hospice & Palliative Care St. Augustine/St. Johns County Advisory Council and volunteers with St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS). She is committed to inspiring and connecting women and girls and is thrilled to be working with Generation W to create strategic and purposeful partnerships that further the important mission of the W platform and deepen connections to the greater community.
Stacy Ellison brings her passion for mentoring young people, dedication to volunteerism, and commitment to community building to Generation W as the Chief Enthusiast, Director of Operations and Programming. She is elated to serve with this team of phenomenal women focused on spreading positivity, purpose, and WOW to the world. Stacy comes to W after many years as a news anchor, reporter, and producer. She brings her love of public speaking, “can do” work ethic, and sharp attention to detail to enhance the mission and vision of Generation W initiatives and events. Stacy counts her faith, family, and friends as her true inspirations and believes in the power of pursuing your passion. In the words of Maya Angelou: “You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off you.”
